Inspired by the recent royal wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, plus the beautiful wedding of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, this editorial is filled with unique European details. The first step to creating a European inspired editorial was finding the perfect venue! We chose the newest venue in the Dallas-Fort-Worth area, Knotting Hill Place. This incredible mansion mixes old-world charm, with contemporary design. It gives the modern bride her own royal wedding! There are 17,00 square feet of venue space, with five acres of land.
The bride, Chloe, got ready in the Royal Room. This stunning bridal suite has lots of light and comfortable couches. She wore an all lace wedding gown by the designer Berta. The gown had a sheer illusion bodice and beautiful open back. The matching shoes by Bella Belle Shoes tied the look together! With a unique color palette of dusty rose and grey, Chloe’s bouquet had roses, carnations, anemones, and orchids.
Their ceremony took place in the Courtyard of Knotting Hill Place, with gorgeous flowers by Kate McLeod. Kate designed the column ceremony backdrop to specifically tie in with the courtyard, and the circular seating ceremony arrangement. The variety of floral textures and blush tones of the floral arrangements and bouquet tied in beautifully with the invitation suite design from Brown Fox Creative.
Knotting Hill Place Reception
After the ceremony, I took the bride and groom around the beautiful grounds at Knotting Hill to capture their portraits. The couple had so much fun, dancing around the grounds, and getting cozy inside the mansion. The dramatic marble staircase leading down to the Grand Ballroom is filled with lots of light, and stunning chandeliers.
Next, their dessert table was inside, in the Cathedral Room, that overlooks the grounds. Manda Mobley used a spackle base texture with a painted buttercream floral design on the cake.
Their head table and reception were outside on the event lawn. Surrounded by water features and woods, this is the perfect backdrop for both a ceremony and reception, all year long. A large wooden table was surrounded by luxurious furniture, with lots of candlelight for the evening. Thank you to the incredible team of vendors, who helped turn this vision into a gorgeous editorial!
