Villa Pizzo, Lake Como
In the quaint lake-side village of Cernobbio, Villa Pizzo is the crown jewel that sits upon the shoreline. Its charming exterior complete with gardens, lake views, and old Italian architecture makes it one of the most sought after villas to get married in at Lake Como. The interior is equally as grand, complete with antiques, ornate details, and sprawling murals. It’s truly straight out of a fairytale serving as the most gorgeous backdrop for couples on their big day.
Italian-Inspired Wedding Attire
The bride wore a stunning high neck gown from the Amanda James Bridal collection paired with accessories with Anne Marie Bridal Designs. For a second look, the bride changed into a short one shoulder gown by Sachin and Babi. It was cinched at the waist with the most fun statement bow flowing down. This look was paired with a chic feathery bucket bag and fabulous shoes by Antonio Melani. The Groom honored the color palette by pairing a black and white dinner jacket with black detailing by Tom Ford, with a crisp white shirt, black bowtie, white shirt and black dress pants.
A Spectacular Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony took place in the villa’s picturesque gardens, with the serene waters of Lake Como glistening in the background. The contrast of black and white décor against the verdant greenery created a striking visual impact, while allowing the natural beauty of the surroundings to take center stage. Crisp white linens, sleek black accents, and delicate floral arrangements in shades of ivory and ebony set the tone for an elegant affair that exuded sophistication and style.
Stunning Wedding Design
To complement the exquisite setting of the Villa, a sophisticated approach is essential in crafting the wedding design. This inspirational wedding tablescape embodied the essence of old-world elegance through a harmonious blend of textures and tones. Striking chandeliers hung elegantly above the tables, accompanied by sleek black taper candles and an abundance of floral arrangements set on the table in soft creams, blush, and ivory hues. The refined simplicity of the black and white color scheme was elevated with luxurious materials like velvet and Jamestown print linens, accented with touches of gold and fresh blackberries, resulting in a truly refined ambiance.
